Ogun Governor Pledges 95% Votes for Tinubu in 2027

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun declared that the state will deliver 95% of its votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 general elections. This statement was made during a strategic meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) held at the Presidential Lodge in Abeokuta.

Abiodun recognized Tinubu's economic reforms and their positive impact on the nation's economy. He commended the APC members in Ogun State for conducting peaceful and transparent primary elections, underscoring the party's maturity and unity.

The governor also noted that the state has broken a 50-year jinx by producing a governorship candidate from the Ogun West senatorial district. He mentioned that the party has unanimously zoned the deputy governor position to Ogun East.

Abiodun reaffirmed the administration's commitment to improving the welfare of the people and ensuring that the dividends of democracy are felt across all sectors.
