Edo APC Promises 2.5 Million Votes for Tinubu in 2027

The Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced its intention to deliver 2.5 million votes for Bola Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 presidential election. This declaration was made by the party's chairman, Jarrett Tenebe, during a press briefing at the APC secretariat, where he highlighted the party's recent success in local government elections, which he described as a strong endorsement of Governor Mondai Okpebholo's administration and Tinubu's "Renew Hope" agenda.

Tenebe noted that the APC secured 2,158,600 votes in the council polls, reflecting the confidence of the people in Edo State. He commended the conduct of the elections, which allowed participation from 11 opposition parties, and dismissed criticisms regarding the credibility of the polls.

Tenebe also called for unity among political actors to foster development in Edo State, emphasizing the need to set aside partisan differences for collective progress.
