Ondo Governor Aiyedatiwa Backs Tinubu for 2027 Election

Ondo State Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has committed to supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election bid in the 2027 presidential election, asserting that the state will deliver over one million votes. During an interview, Hon. Idowu Ajanaku, the Commissioner for Information and Orientation, stated that the current administration prioritizes Tinubu’s second term due to the significant developmental benefits Ondo State has received from the Federal Government.

Ajanaku cited ongoing federal infrastructure projects, including the reconstruction of the Owo–Benin Expressway, the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway, and the rehabilitation of the Ore–Akure Expressway, which are enhancing connectivity and stimulating socio-economic growth. He described Tinubu’s economic reforms as necessary for sustainable growth, despite some temporary challenges.

Ajanaku reaffirmed the harmonious relationship between the Aiyedatiwa administration and the Federal Government, urging residents to ignore misinformation. He called on APC members to unite and mobilize support for Tinubu’s re-election, expressing optimism about the collaboration between the federal and state governments.
