Olawepo-Hashim Accuses APC of Smear Campaign Ahead of 2027 Polls

Dr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, a notable presidential aspirant for the 2027 elections, has accused elements within Nigeria's ruling Progressives Congress (APC) of sponsoring a smear campaign against him.

He alleges that these elements are renewing allegations involving his estranged wife to discredit him ahead of the upcoming general election. Olawepo-Hashim claims that the campaign is orchestrated by remnants of a political group that tried to thwart his 2019 presidential bid.

He further implicates individuals around President Buhari, the UK High Commission, and the Nigerian Intelligence Agency in this alleged scheme.
