Omo-Agege's Exit Seen as Major Loss for APC

Sam Amadi, a director at the Abuja School of Social and Political Thought, described the exit of former Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege from the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a substantial loss for the party. Amadi made these comments during a live appearance on Arise Television's morning show on Thursday.

He reacted to Omo-Agege's resignation, which occurred shortly after he lost the Delta Central APC Senate primary election. Amadi expressed that Omo-Agege's departure would likely lead to a significant setback for the APC in Delta State, as he is a strong politician who had built a robust political network.

He emphasized that the APC would face challenges in the upcoming elections due to the emergence of a strong opposition force, which could hinder the party's performance in 2023.
