Ondo Non-Indigenes Pledge One Million Votes for Tinubu

On Tuesday, during a rally in Akure, Ondo State, non-indigenes residing across the state declared their support for President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid for the 2027 presidential election. Mr.

Usor Fide, representing the non-indigenous community, emphasized their commitment to delivering one million votes for Tinubu, highlighting the community's contributions to the state's economic growth and social harmony. The gathering served as a formal declaration of support, with Fide praising Tinubu's leadership qualities and vision for Nigeria.

Mr. Olumid Obadel, a coordinator for the Progress Network Tinubu, expressed confidence that the non-indigenous community would surpass their previous voting record, which saw them deliver 30 percent of the votes in the 2023 elections.

The rally also featured encouragement from Olubunmi Tunji Ojo, the Minister of Interior, urging community members to ensure they obtain their Permanent Voter Cards ahead of the upcoming elections, stressing the necessity of continued support for Tinubu's administration to foster national progress.
