Kwankwasiyya Movement Backs Obi, Kwankwaso for 2027

The Kwankwasiyya Movement, represented by spokesperson Habib Mailemo, has stated that only Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso command organic support for the upcoming 2027 presidential election. This assertion was made during a discussion on Arise Television, where Mailemo emphasized that Obi and Kwankwaso's followership is rooted in genuine belief rather than political inducement.

He countered former Vice President Atiku Abubakar's claims of popularity, particularly within the established structures of the People's Democratic Party (PDP). Mailemo highlighted that Atiku's support is largely derived from PDP governors and the party's established structure, while asserting that Obi and Kwankwaso have proven track records that resonate with the masses.
