Jibrin Confident of Tinubu's 2027 Re-Election Victory

Abdulmumin Jibrin, a former four-term member of the House of Representatives, stated that President Bola Tinubu will secure a second term in office during the 2027 elections. Speaking on a program on Wednesday, Jibrin asserted that the opposition has already lost its opportunity to unseat the ruling party.

He noted that political realities and dynamics strongly favor Tinubu ahead of the next general elections. Jibrin maintained that the ruling party remains firmly positioned for victory, regardless of the strategies employed by the opposition.

He pointed out that even prominent opposition figures, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi, and Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, have failed to unite on a common platform against Tinubu. Jibrin predicted a comfortable victory for Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, emphasizing that the internal divisions within the opposition further enhance the president's chances of success.
