SDP Chieftain Adebayo Claims Tinubu Defeated for 2027

Adewale Adebayo, a chieftain of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), declared in an interview with Symphony TV that President Bola Tinubu has already been defeated in the upcoming 2027 presidential election. Adebayo articulated that Nigeria requires new leadership to navigate its challenges, criticizing Tinubu's handling of issues such as Boko Haram and the economy.

He noted that Tinubu's popularity is waning, particularly in the southern regions of Nigeria, and expressed concern that the president does not understand the sentiments in the north and west. Adebayo described the current state of the Nigerian populace as disillusioned and hopeless, suggesting that citizens are unlikely to support Tinubu in the next election.

He also mentioned that the SDP will present two candidates to contest against Tinubu, which he believes will further distract the president from his duties.
