Oyo APC Candidate Sharafadeen Alli Names Running Mate

Sharafadeen Alli, the gubernatorial candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, unveiled Adesoji Adedeji as his running mate for the upcoming 2027 general elections. Adedeji, who is the younger brother of Dr.

Zacheu Adedeji, currently holds the position of chairman at the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS). The announcement took place in the Ogo Oluwa local government area of Ogbomoso, which is part of the geopolitical zone.

During the event, Gbenga Olayemi, the national auditor of the APC, was present, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) nomination form was received by Alli. Alli urged party members to work towards a successful campaign, emphasizing the importance of unity to avoid defeat in the elections.

He expressed confidence that with God's grace, he would assume office as governor on May 29, 2027, alongside Adesoji Adedeji as deputy governor.
