APC Names Sharafadeen Alli as Oyo Guber Candidate for 2027

On Thursday, the All Progressives Congress (APC) unveiled Chief Sharafadeen Alli as its gubernatorial candidate for the 2027 elections in Oyo State, with Adesoji Adedeji Alli as his running mate. This announcement followed the party's gubernatorial primary elections, which saw former Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu among the aspirants.

The APC later dismissed rumors of fake primary election results circulating on social media, stating that no official results had been released at the state level. The Deputy National Auditor of the party, Hon.

Gbenga Olayemi, emphasized the importance of party unity and urged APC members in Oyo State to support their candidates. Chief Sharafadeen Alli, who currently represents the Oyo South Senatorial District, accepted his nomination and expressed confidence in the party's ideals and the democratic process.

APC Chairman Otunba Mose Adeyemo called for members to set aside past grievances and work together for the party's success in the upcoming elections.
