NDC Forms Reconciliation Committee Ahead of Elections

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has established a seven-member National Reconciliation Committee to engage with aggrieved aspirants following the party's recent primaries. This decision was announced in a statement by the party’s National Chairman, Senator Cleopas Moses, and National Secretary, Mr. Ikenna Morgan Enekweizu.

The committee, chaired by political economist Pat Utomi and co-chaired by veteran politician Buba Galadima, is tasked with resolving grievances to enhance party unity ahead of the forthcoming elections. Barrister Mohammed Sani Takori serves as vice chairman, with Comrade Babatunde Alli as secretary.

Other committee members include Mrs. Dudu Mamman Manuga, Hon. Salvador Adegoke Moshood, and Alhaji Haruna Pai. Additionally, three zonal reconciliation sub-committees will be formed for the North, South-East, and South-South regions, each with designated chairs and secretaries.

The National Reconciliation Committee will be inaugurated at the party’s national secretariat on Thursday, August 6, 2026.
