ADC Forms Committee to Rebuild Trust Ahead of 2027 Elections

On Wednesday, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) officially inaugurated a 15-man National Reconciliation and Peace Committee at the party’s headquarters in Abuja, led by Senator Tunde Ogbeha. Mark, the party chairman, tasked the committee with strengthening the party, healing divisions, and ensuring all members feel valued as the ADC prepares for the 2027 general elections.

He emphasized that the ADC was founded on principles of democracy, inclusion, justice, and consultation, as outlined in Article 6.3 of the party’s constitution, which encourages building bridges across differences. Mark acknowledged the realities of recent primaries, which resulted in both victories and grievances, stating that those who did not win remain valuable members of the ADC.

He urged victorious members to recognize their responsibility to include rather than exclude others, stressing the need for a united political platform to gain the confidence of Nigerians in the upcoming elections.
