PDP Declares Readiness to Reclaim Kwara in 2027 Elections

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State conducted a rally in Ilorin, declaring its readiness to reclaim power in the 2027 general elections. State chairman Isa Adamu stated that the party has emerged stronger and more united following its recent national convention.

He described the rally as a turning point for the party, asserting that Kwara State is prepared for a new direction and hope. Adamu noted that the PDP has consolidated its internal structure and positioned itself as a credible alternative to the current ruling party.

He criticized the current administration for its failures, linking it to challenges faced by the state, including insecurity and uneven development. Adamu raised concerns about the suppression of dissent and the detention of youth who criticize the government.

He called on members of other political parties to join the PDP to collectively rebuild the state and create a government that truly serves the people.
