PDP Candidate Donkemezuo Prioritizes Constituents' Needs

Elvis Donkemezuo, the Peoples Democratic Party candidate for the Yenagoa/Kolokuma-Opokuma Federal Constituency in the 2027 House of Representatives election, committed to developing his legislative agenda based on the needs of his constituents. This pledge was made in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, during the reception of a Constituency Needs Assessment Survey conducted across Yenagoa and Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Areas.

The survey, led by consultant Victor Ikem, revealed that 40% of respondents identified unemployment as a significant issue, while 33% pointed to poor road networks and inadequate healthcare facilities. Donkemezuo emphasized the importance of understanding constituents' problems before proposing solutions and stated that the survey's findings would guide his legislative initiatives.

He aims to sponsor bills and facilitate interventions addressing the identified development gaps, ensuring regular engagement with constituents. Donkemezuo described the assessment as a groundbreaking effort in Bayelsa, aiming to provide service based on factual needs rather than political rhetoric.
