Oshiomhole Critiques Peter Obi's Presidential Aspirations

During an interview on TVC, Edo North Senator Adams Oshiomhole expressed his belief that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, is unqualified to be president of Nigeria. Oshiomhole characterized Obi as a trader, stating that traders operate with short-term calculations and lack the long-term vision necessary for governance.

He referenced Obi's previous tenure as Governor of Anambra State, noting that Obi had once pledged loyalty to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) but later aligned himself with Atiku Abubakar, suggesting a lack of political consistency. Oshiomhole further criticized Obi's lifestyle and business practices, claiming that he exports jobs and imports unemployment, and emphasized that a true leader should be a manufacturer or entrepreneur capable of long-term project planning.

Oshiomhole's comments reflect a broader critique of Obi's suitability for the presidency, asserting that he is not aware of Nigeria's deeper economic issues due to his focus on trading.
