Katsina Political Appointees Resign for 2027 Elections

In preparation for the 2027 general elections, numerous political appointees in Katsina State are hastily submitting their resignations. Among those resigning is Alhaji Hamza Sulaiman Faskari, who has stepped down from his position at the State Government's office to contest for a senatorial seat under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Barrister Abdullahi Garba Faskari confirmed to the media that he has also tendered his resignation to pursue a candidacy in the APC primaries for the senatorial district. Governor Dikko Radda's loyalists are encouraged to follow suit, as indicated by Faskari's statements.

Additionally, Malam Shehu Abdu Daura has resigned from his role as a special advisor to the governor to contest in the APC primaries for the Daura Zone senatorial district. Sources from the Secretary to the Government's office revealed that several other appointees are expected to resign as well.
