Ifeanyi Odii Wins Ebonyi PDP Governorship Primary Election

On Tuesday, Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii emerged as the unopposed winner of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primary in Ebonyi State, securing a total of 8,281 votes. The primary election took place across 13 local government areas and was monitored by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Dr. Lekon Rotimi, who chaired the committee overseeing the primary, officially announced Odii as the winner at the party's collation center in Abakaliki, the state capital.

Chukwuma Igw, the chairman of the PDP in Ebonyi State, described the primary as peaceful and a consensus exercise. Odii emphasized the need for good governance in Ebonyi State, criticizing the current administration for being run by a select few and pledging to work towards the development and welfare of all citizens.

He called for party unity and support as he prepares for the 2023 governorship election.
