Kogi APC Disability Network Launches Campaign for Tinubu

On Wednesday, Yakubu Nazir, the Director-General of the Kogi State All Progressives Congress (APC) Disability Network, inaugurated a campaign council aimed at securing 100 percent votes for President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in the upcoming 2027 general elections. The council's members include state, zonal, and local government area coordinators, as well as Campaign Network Patrons from the three senatorial districts of Kogi State.

Nazir praised the APC-led government for its inclusive policies and recognized President Tinubu and Governor Ododo as disability-friendly leaders. He reiterated the commitment to support the Tinubu/Ododo agenda, which focuses on accessibility, empowerment, education, employment, and equal participation for persons with disabilities.

Nazir also highlighted the significance of the Discrimination Against Persons with Disabilities (Prohibition) Act, 2018, and the establishment of the Kogi State Office for Disability Affairs under former Governor Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, which aims to promote disability inclusion in governance.
