ADC Candidate Shinkafi Promises Change in Zamfara for 2027

Bilyaminu Aliyu Shinkafi, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate in Zamfara state, stated that a "wind of change" is sweeping through northern Nigeria in anticipation of the 2027 general elections. In an interview in Abuja, he discussed the ADC's plans for extensive grassroots mobilization to garner voter support across Zamfara.

While he refrained from providing specific statistics or predictions regarding the election outcome, Shinkafi expressed confidence in the party's prospects, stating that his acceptance of the governorship ticket was based on this confidence.
