2027: Popular Activist Unveils New Platform to Support ADC coalition, Details Emerge

Renowned human rights activist Comrade Ibrahim Garba Wala, also known as IG Wala, has introduced a new initiative called the Handshake Movement to support the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition. In a statement released on August 21, Wala urged Nigerians to join this movement to create a better future for the country by fostering understanding and collaboration among people.

The coalition aims to prioritize the inclusion of youth and women in key positions. Prominent supporters of the ADC, such as Aisha Yesufu and Peter Obi, have expressed their support for the movement.

The coalition is gearing up to challenge the administration of President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, with key figures like David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola appointed as interim chairman and secretary. The ADC coalition is backed by leaders like Atiku Abubakar, Nasir El-Rufai, and Rotimi Amaechi.
