Oyekunle Calls for Unity in PDP/APM Alliance Ahead of 2027

Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle, representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, called for enhanced grassroots mobilization and unity among leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Allied Peoples Movement (APM) alliance. This appeal was made during an interactive luncheon with ward chairmen, women leaders, and youth leaders from the 12 wards in Ibadan North Local Government.

The meeting aimed to strengthen party cohesion, expand grassroots engagement, and review strategies for the upcoming general election. Oyekunle recounted his stewardship, highlighting various constituency projects and empowerment programs.

He acknowledged the critical role of the grassroots leaders, referring to them as the "engine room" of the alliance, and urged them to maintain engagement with residents and promote the alliance's achievements. He stressed that victory would come from consistent mobilization and unity of purpose.

The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from the leaders to enhance grassroots efforts and collaborate for the success of the PDP/APM alliance in the forthcoming election.
