APM Seeks Unity Among Candidates for 2027 Elections

The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Oyo State has initiated efforts to reconcile aggrieved members and enhance collaboration among its candidates in preparation for the 2027 general elections. This initiative was discussed during a strategic meeting involving the party’s campaign council, leadership, and candidates for various positions, including governorship, senatorial, House of Representatives, and State House of Assembly.

Acting Governor of Oyo State, Barrister Bayo Lawal, urged candidates to set aside differences and work collectively for the party's success, stressing that unity and teamwork are essential for electoral performance. Dr Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, the Director-General of the APM Campaign Council, emphasized the council's commitment to supporting all candidates and mobilizing for Governor Seyi Makinde’s presidential ambition.

He called for genuine reconciliation among party members and effective grassroots campaigning. The APM State Chairman, Otunba Adegbenro Fagbemi, and Alliance Party Chairman, Hon Dayo Ogungbenro, also encouraged cooperation among candidates to achieve the party's objectives.
