Sanwo-Olu Endorses Deputy Hamzat for 2027 Governorship

On a recent date, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu publicly endorsed his Deputy, Obafemi Hamzat, as his preferred successor for the 2027 governorship election. This endorsement occurred during a closed-door meeting at the Lagos House in Marina, attended by members of the Governor's Advisory Council, including former Minister of State for Defence Musiliu Obanikoro and Ganiyu Solomon.
