Shehu Bawa Prioritizes Security for Kaduna 2027 Elections

Hon. Shehu Bawa, a governorship aspirant for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State, has identified security as the foremost priority in his agenda for the 2027 general elections. He made this declaration on Monday when he submitted his nomination form at the PDP secretariat in Kaduna State.

Bawa stressed that protecting lives and property is foundational for development, noting that Kaduna State cannot achieve progress in an environment characterized by fear and violence. He highlighted the serious security challenges, including banditry and kidnapping, that persist across the state.

Bawa pledged to focus on strengthening community security structures and improving coordination among security agencies to restore public confidence. Additionally, he proposed policies aimed at job creation and supporting small businesses to empower women and youth, who are facing significant economic hardships.

He criticized the current administration for its inability to adequately address these challenges and called on citizens to consider changing leadership in the upcoming elections.
