Shettima's VP Retention Due to Loyalty and Performance

Dikko Umaru Radda, the Governor of Katsina State, affirmed that the decision to retain Kashim Shettima as Vice President by President Bola Tinubu for the upcoming 2027 elections is a result of Shettima's loyalty and performance. In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Moham Radda, the governor congratulated Shettima on his retention, indicating that it reflects the confidence in Shettima's work over the past year.

Radda noted that Shettima has led several critical initiatives, including chairing the presidential committee on MSME efforts, energy security, and economic policies. He emphasized the need for someone with administrative experience and political judgment in the vice presidency, suggesting that President Tinubu's choice to retain Shettima indicates satisfaction with his handling of responsibilities.
