Sokoto Councillors Support Ahmed Aliyu's Nomination

Councillors from Sokoto have collectively purchased nomination forms for Ahmed Aliyu, indicating their support for his continued governance. This decision was articulated by Nura Umar Goronyo, the chairman of the 244 councillor forum, who noted the impressive achievements of Aliyu's administration over the past three years.

The councillors emphasized the importance of good governance and grassroots representation, particularly in rural communities, and acknowledged the transformative efforts made under Aliyu's leadership in agriculture, road renovation, school development, and human capital initiatives across the state. Goronyo expressed satisfaction with the people-oriented policies implemented by Aliyu's administration.

Additionally, the councillors presented a check on behalf of the state APC chairman, Haruna Gobir, further demonstrating their commitment to supporting Aliyu's nomination for governor, which reflects the robust achievements and leadership qualities of Dr. Ahmed Aliyu.
