Oritsejafor Urges Tinubu Not to Seek Reelection in 2027

Ayo Oritsejafor, the former president of the Christian Association of Nigeria, publicly urged President Bola Tinubu not to pursue reelection in 2027, citing failures in governance over the past three years. Speaking on a political program on Channels Television, Oritsejafor stated that Tinubu's administration has caused more harm than good, asserting that Nigerians do not deserve to see him reelected.

He advised Tinubu to seek capable hands to provide relief to the suffering populace rather than continuing in office. Oritsejafor echoed sentiments from Peter Obi, a presidential candidate from the Labour Party, suggesting that Tinubu should resign like the British Prime Minister if he cannot address the nation's issues.

He criticized the recent elections, labeling them as fake and unreflective of the true wishes of Nigerians, and emphasized the need for leaders to live among the people rather than in affluence.
