Tinubu Submits Nomination Forms for 2027 Elections

On Thursday, Bola Tinubu submitted his presidential nomination forms to the All Progressives Congress (APC) as he expresses his interest in running for a second term in the 2027 elections. The submission occurred at the APC national secretariat in Abuja, with Vice President Kashim Shettima recalling Jame Falek, a member of the House of Representatives, who picked up the forms on Tinubu's behalf on Tuesday.

The nomination forms cost N100 million, which was paid to the party. Sulaiman Argungu, the APC national organizing secretary, announced that the sale of forms for aspirants seeking the party's presidential ticket would commence shortly.

Felix Morka, the party's national publicity secretary, stated that Tinubu has done enough to contest for a second term in office in 2027.
