Alausa Confident in Tinubu's 2027 Re-election Prospects

Dr. Olatunji Alausa, the Minister of Education, stated that he is confident President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will secure re-election in the 2027 presidential election.

He attributed this confidence to the administration's performance and ongoing reforms, which he believes provide a strong basis for another mandate. Alausa made these remarks in Abuja, as reported by his special adviser, Mr Ikharo Attah.

He emphasized that President Tinubu is committed to fulfilling promises made to Nigerians through significant economic and structural reforms that are reshaping the country's economy. Alausa noted that assessments from institutions such as the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, Bloomberg, and Nigeria’s National Bureau of Statistics indicate that the economic reforms are yielding positive results, enhancing investor confidence, and improving the economic outlook.

He highlighted that inflation is easing and economic activities are expanding, asserting that these reforms are designed for long-term prosperity rather than short-term gains. Alausa concluded that as more Nigerians experience the benefits of these policies, Tinubu's performance will be a strong argument for his re-election.
