NDC Resists Binani's Faction in Adamawa State Politics

Ibrahim Bebetu, the interim chairman of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), held a press conference in Yola, Adamawa State, where he declared the party's intention to resist Aisha Dahiru Binani's faction. Binani's group recently announced a fresh congress aimed at producing a new party executive, which Bebetu condemned as an act of political banditry.

He urged the public to disregard the congress conducted by Binani's faction, describing their actions as an attempt to hijack the party's structure in Adamawa State. Bebetu emphasized that the NDC remains an authentic party and that the parallel executive produced by Binani's group is null and void, contravening party guidelines.

He referenced a recent meeting led by party national leader Seriake Dickson, where it was made clear that the NDC in Adamawa would not be involved in such activities. Bebetu reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining the integrity of the party's existing executive across the 21 local government areas in the state.
