Kelechi Anosike Outlines Vision for Abia Governorship

Kelechi Anosike, a governorship aspirant for Abia State, expressed his desire to govern the state during a meeting with journalists in Abuja. He is contesting the governorship election under the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and aims to improve the welfare of the citizens, create job opportunities, and reform the civil service.

Anosike criticized the current administration, stating that Abia State has been short-changed and that the people are not satisfied with the government's performance. He emphasized the need for agricultural initiatives to tackle food insecurity, ensuring that citizens do not go to bed hungry.

Anosike also promised to implement reforms in the civil service, including salaries above the minimum wage, improved healthcare, and stronger welfare packages. His administration would focus on youth development, establishing ICT hubs, and introducing compulsory skill acquisition programs in schools.

Additionally, he plans to build infrastructure and support small businesses through microcredit schemes to drive economic growth in the state.
