Adebayo Vows to Defeat Tinubu in 2027 Elections

Adewale Adebayo, the presidential candidate for the Social Democratic Party (SDP), declared his intention to defeat Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential elections. Adebayo emphasized that the SDP will not engage in ethnic politics, focusing instead on pressing issues such as hunger, unemployment, and the rising cost of living that affect millions of Nigerians.

He criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC) for prioritizing electoral victories over addressing the economic hardships faced by ordinary citizens. Adebayo stated that the SDP aims to provide solutions to social problems and improve living conditions for Nigerians.

He also addressed internal challenges within the SDP, including legal troubles involving the party's former national chairman, but refrained from commenting on specific details due to his professional responsibilities as a lawyer. Adebayo affirmed that the party would hold officials accountable and maintain discipline in accordance with the law.
