2027: ‘Why Peter Obi Will Not Get ADC, PDP, LP Presidential Ticket’, Bwala Explains In Viral Video

Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, explained in a viral video why Peter Obi may not secure the presidential ticket for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), or Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 election. Bwala suggested that Obi could potentially become a running mate for a presidential candidate from these parties.

He noted that Obi lost 50% of the vote in a recent election and may struggle to secure the nomination due to his divisive politics and lack of support in the Southeast region. Despite being a popular opposition figure with strong youth support, analysts warn that Obi's ambitions could split the opposition and benefit the ruling party.

Meanwhile, former Minister of Youth Solomon Dalung hinted at Obi's stance on the presidency and potential return to the PDP.
