ADC Backs Atiku Abubakar for 2027 Presidential Race

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Zamfara State has expressed its support for former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as the preferred candidate for the 2027 presidential elections. During a stakeholders meeting held on Saturday at the International Conference Hall in Gusau, party leaders warned they would sue Abubakar if he decides not to contest the elections.

The meeting, attended by members of the state executive committee and national executive committee, concluded with a communiqué emphasizing the need for experienced leadership to restore stability and improve security in Nigeria. Alhaji Abubakar Abdullahi, a prominent figure within the ADC, stated that the party is committed to ensuring that the electoral process is transparent and credible.

The ADC plans to mobilize grassroots support across the state to bolster Abubakar's candidacy, reflecting confidence that voters will make informed choices in the upcoming electoral cycle.
