Kano Governor Yusuf Advocates for Tinubu's 2027 Re-election

Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf called on political leaders in the North and North-West to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's bid for a second term in the 2027 presidential election. He stated that power should remain in the South for a corresponding period following former President Muhammadu Buhari’s tenure.

Yusuf made these remarks while receiving 50 branded vehicles donated to the All Progressives Congress (APC) by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Door-to-Door Campaign Organisation, led by High Chief Government Ekpemupolo. He emphasized that Tinubu should be allowed to complete the South's eight-year period by securing another term.

Yusuf declared that Kano and the North-West would support Tinubu’s re-election and urged politicians to focus on issue-based campaigns rather than personal attacks. He expressed appreciation for the vehicle donation, which would support APC political structures and campaign activities in Kano ahead of the elections.

Yusuf also called for peaceful electioneering and the engagement of the electorate.
