Tragic Road Accidents Claim 22 Lives in Jigawa State

In Jigawa state, two separate road accidents resulted in 22 fatalities, with the first claiming 17 lives, including children, in Danmasara town. The accidents involved multiple vehicles, including Volkswagen Golf cars and a Mercedes-Benz tipper truck.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) identified the vehicles involved and emphasized the importance of adhering to traffic regulations to prevent such tragedies. Another crash in Ringim Local Government Area led to five deaths when a Honda Accord veered off the road to avoid a goat.

Investigations are ongoing in both incidents.
