Auto Accident Claims 30 Lives in Kano State, Governor Urges Adherence to Traffic Rules

In Kano State, a tragic auto accident resulted in the loss of 30 lives and several injuries. The accident occurred when a truck carrying passengers crashed in Kwanar Bard Town, Kano State, due to reckless driving.

The truck was en route to Gujungu Town when the incident happened early on a Sunday morning. The injured individuals were promptly taken to various hospitals for medical care.

The Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, expressed deep sorrow over the incident, emphasizing the need for strict adherence to traffic regulations to prevent such tragedies. This accident follows a recent incident in December where the British heavyweight boxing champion was injured and two associates killed in a collision on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
