Sowore Confronts Umahi Over ₦250 Million Debt Allegations

On Wednesday, Omoyele Sowore confronted Minister of Works Dave Umahi at the Force Headquarters in Abuja regarding the alleged detention of Tracynith Nicola Ohiri. Ohiri claims that Umahi owes her ₦250 million, a debt that has been outstanding for 12 years.

She is currently detained and facing charges of cyberbullying. Sowore shared a video of the encounter, which took place inside the conference hall of the Federal Capital Territory Police Command.

The situation escalated as Ohiri accused Umahi of soliciting sexual favors. During the confrontation, Sowore urged Umahi to address the allegations, prompting the minister to briefly shake hands with him before attempting to leave the venue.

Sowore further claimed that police officers were involved in harassing Ohiri and that she was flown from Lagos to Abuja. The incident has heightened public interest due to the serious nature of the allegations against Umahi.
