321 Contractors Bid for Adamawa SUBEB Projects, Fintiri Releases Funds

In Adamawa State, 321 companies have submitted bids to supply construction work for the Adamawa State Universal Basic Education Board (ADSUBEB). The projects, part of the 2022-2024 technical bid process, involve constructing classroom blocks, renovating existing structures, supplying school furniture, drilling solar-powered boreholes, and constructing perimeter fences.

Dr. Murtala Babayi, the executive chairman of ADSUBEB, highlighted the scope of the projects.

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri's release of counterpart funds has made the implementation of Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) projects possible across the state. Mr.

Rahila Stephen, the director of procurement at ADSUBEB, emphasized compliance with the Public Procurement Act of 2007.
