36 Vessels with Fuel and Food to Arrive at Lagos Ports

The Nigerian Port Authority (NPA) has announced that 36 vessels laden with various cargo, including petroleum products and food supplies, are scheduled to berth at major Lagos ports. The vessels are expected to arrive between May 5 and May 10, 2026, and will include 15 ships carrying containerized cargo and 21 others transporting bulk consignments such as fresh fish, aviation fuel, bulk wheat, base oil, diesel, petrol, gasoline, and crude oil.

Currently, 11 vessels have already arrived within the port network and are awaiting berthing to offload their items, which include bulk urea, fuel oil, petrol, and fertilizers. Additionally, 24 ships are actively discharging various cargo across three ports, including bulk urea and fresh fish.

The ports involved in this operation include Apapa Port, Lekki Deep Sea Port, and Tin Island Port.
