Umo Eno Calls for Unity and Collaboration in Akwa Ibom

During the 39th State Anniversary Broadcast in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno appealed to the residents for their support in building the Akwa Ibom of their dreams. He emphasized that the government alone cannot achieve this and that the people must actively participate in seizing opportunities and creating value.

Eno stated that while the government can provide infrastructure and promote peace, it is the responsibility of the citizens to engage in business, value education, and protect the peace. He congratulated Akwa Ibomites on their resilience over the past 35 years since the state's creation and urged them to continue supporting the government.

Eno also reflected on his achievements under the ARISE agenda since taking office in 2023, noting that these accomplishments would not have been possible without a peaceful environment. He called for unity among the people, regardless of political or ethnic differences, stressing that Akwa Ibom should always come first.
