EMT Foundation Offers Free Medical Services to 2,000

The EMT Foundation, led by Dr. Esther Matthew Tonlagha, organized a free medical check-up and surgical program in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Delta State, benefiting 2,000 individuals over five days.

This initiative is part of the foundation's broader mission to assist underserved communities facing healthcare access challenges due to high costs. The program included financial support for 30 women entrepreneurs and assistance for 200 sickle cell patients.

During the closing ceremony, Chief Victoria Eguen praised the foundation for its contributions to the community, expressing gratitude for the hope and treatment provided. Mr.

Jayman Jemi shared his experience of suffering from high blood pressure for five years without relief, highlighting the program's positive impact. The EMT Foundation focuses on three pillars: empowerment, access, and sustainability, aiming to create lasting benefits for communities.

The foundation also seeks collaboration with government and development partners to improve primary healthcare in rural Nigeria.
