N-Youth League Cup Expands to 42 Clubs for 2026/27 Season

The N-Youth League Cup (N-YLC) has grown significantly from 23 clubs in its inaugural season to 42 clubs for the 2026/27 season. Founded and led by Robinson Adakosa, the league focuses on developing Nigeria's youth football talent through a technology-driven and data-supported competition.
The league has established international scouting partnerships and aims to connect young players with professional opportunities worldwide. With support from the Nigeria Football Federation and various technology partners, the N-YLC has seen an 83 percent growth over three seasons.
The new season will feature a 3-regional conference structure to enhance geographical representation and reduce travel costs. The league also plans an All-Star programme in England in November 2026, in partnership with Brooke House College.
The opening fixtures will take place at Remo Stadium Ikenne, featuring matches such as Imperial FC vs Spartans FC and others.
