Nine Candidates Seek ADC Tickets in Anambra Elections

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Anambra State has revealed that nine individuals are contesting for its tickets, with six aspiring for the House of Assembly. The announcement was made during a leadership consultation meeting held in Awka on Friday, led by Ndubuisi Nwobu, a chieftain of the ADC.

The meeting emphasized loyalty to the national leadership, represented by David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola. Nwobu expressed confidence in the party's ability to secure victories in the upcoming elections, despite the challenges posed by the exit of former members.

The ADC aims to present a united front and is preparing for the 2027 elections. Patrick Obianyo will continue as the chairperson until the end of his tenure, while the party is committed to supporting candidates who have purchased nomination forms.

The ADC leadership is focused on ensuring a strong electoral performance in Anambra State.
