ADC Elects Chris McCool Nwosu as New Chairman in Anambra

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) conducted its state congress in Anambra State, where Chris McCool Nwosu was elected as the new substantive chairman of the party. The congress, held at the Kyri Event Centre in Awka, was characterized by a consensus arrangement, affirming unity within the party. Nwosu, addressing the delegates, expressed gratitude and pledged loyalty and dedication to the ADC's ideals. He emphasized the importance of reconnecting with the grassroots and building a credible alternative for the people of Anambra. The congress also saw the formation of a new state executive committee, which includes 54 officials across various levels. The event was supervised by the ADC state congress committee from Abuja, led by Ambassador Fidel Ayogu. The new executive is tasked with ensuring fair equity and strengthening the party's electoral prospects for the 2027 elections. Prominent party leaders expressed confidence in the ADC's ability to consolidate its structure and enhance its electoral strength.
