Lagos Deputy Governor to Keynote PodFest Naija 2026

PodFest Naija has announced that Obafemi Hamzat, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, will be the keynote speaker at the festival scheduled for September 25, 2026, at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos. His address will focus on Creativity, Technology, Culture, and the Future of Lagos residents, highlighting the importance of storytelling in Nigeria's creative economy.

The festival will feature a lineup of notable personalities, including Funke Akindele and Aproko Doctor, among others. PodFest Naija serves as a platform for celebrating creativity and fostering collaboration among storytellers.

Tosin Adefeko, Curator of PodFest Naija and CEO of AT3 Resources – The Muvmnt Agency, emphasized the significance of government support for creators in building sustainable businesses. The festival is backed by various organizations, including Eventful, MTN, and Coca-Cola, and aims to showcase innovation and provide learning opportunities for participants.
