NATEP Marks Year of Progress in Talent Export Policies
The Nigerian Talent Export Programme (NATEP) has advanced significant policy reforms and expanded international partnerships one year after its relaunch. The initiative aims to position Nigeria as a major talent hub for global service exports.
A key milestone was reached on November 2025 when the Federal Executive Council (FEC) approved the establishment of the National Coordinating Mechanism for Service Export (NCMSE). This framework is designed to strengthen inter-agency coordination and align national policies with global digital trade, thereby accelerating growth in Nigeria's service export sector.
NATEP also launched the Nigeria Talent Accelerator Network (NTAN) in partnership with the World Economic Forum (WEF), co-chaired by the Federal Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole.
The initiative aims to develop an innovative financial framework to support talent development and export-led growth, with a focus on aligning domestic policies with global best practices in the outsourcing sector.
