Aba Power Promises Electricity Restoration for Easter

Aba Power has committed to restoring electricity to the Umuomainta community in the Ngwa North Local Government Area of Abia State after the loss of six high-tension poles, which occurred during recent windstorms. Edis Ekong, the Senior Brand Communications Manager at Aba Power, stated that the community has been without power for two weeks due to this incident.

The six poles were part of a larger network that included 70 high-tension and 10 low-tension poles lost over the past three weeks. The demand for poles has surged due to increased economic and social activities in the region.

Barrister Ugo Opiegb, the Managing Director of Aba Power, indicated that the company is sourcing replacement poles from suppliers in Port Harcourt, River State. The restoration efforts are crucial as the community prepares for the Easter weekend, with assurances of quality and regular electricity supply being emphasized.
