Abia APC to Discipline Uche Ogah for Labour Party Endorsement

The Abia chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has vowed to take disciplinary action against Uche Ogah, a former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, for allegedly endorsing the Labour Party during an event in Isuikwuato. Ogah's support for the Labour Party's candidate for the 2027 Abia governorship election was publicly rejected by the APC, with Uch Aguoru, the party's Public Secretary, stating that Ogah's remarks do not reflect the party's position.

Aguoru emphasized that Ogah has previously been suspected of working against the party's interests. The APC recently suspended its communication platform, including official WhatsApp groups, as part of its decision-making process.

Benjamin Kalu, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, reiterated the party's commitment to winning elections across all levels and condemned Ogah's actions as irresponsible. The APC will investigate the matter and recommend appropriate sanctions, urging party members to disregard Ogah's statements.
